About the Program

Coffer's Housing Solutions Adult Foster Care (AFC) homes are beautifully furnished residential settings that provide 24-hour personal care, protection, and supervision for individuals who are developmentally disabled, mentally ill, physically handicapped, medically fragile or aged who cannot live alone but who do not need continuous nursing care. We offer three levels of care

• Level one: Residents at this level are functionally independent or require minimal assistance with medications, mobility, dressing, grooming and bathing and are mentally alert. They may need nutritious meals including special diet assistance with housekeeping and/or laundry and the stimulation or security of not living alone
• Level two: Residents at this level are the same as level one BUT requires assistance with one or more activities of daily living(ADL'S)
• Level three:  Residents  at this level requires 24 hour staff availability for medically monitoring and supervision

Visits to each licensed adult foster care home are made by the licensing staff on a regular basis to assure these high standards are maintained. Complaint records are often available on local county levels and now on-line for the consumer to inspect.
